Shihan Terje Årdal gradert til 7. Dan

27. oktober ble Terje Årdal tildelt 7. Dan av Toshiyuki Yoshitake, leder for den internasjonale Shorin Ryu organisasjonen (SKA).
Terje Årdal er høyeste graderte i stilarten og innehar nå en mestergrad som svært få nordmenn har i Karate.
